After finishing my business degree specialising in supply chain and logistics I moved into a management role at one of the country’s largest retailers. This was an incredible learning curve that gave me invaluable experience. When the time came to settle down I moved into the education sector teaching business studies. Although I thoroughly enjoyed my time, in 2014 an opportunity arose that was too tempting to resist … to work with my father and brother in the sports equipment industry, a sector that my family have long been involved in. So perhaps you can say it runs in the blood.
I was brought in, at our previous company, to oversee the implication of a new procurement operating system, reduce waste and increase manufacturing efficiency. During this time I gained a thorough understanding of the sports equipment market, products and manufacturing procedures. Now with the freedom offered at MH Goals I have been able to fully utilise my knowledge and skills. I’m delighted to have been part of and seen the rapid rise of our family business, from start-up to becoming one of the country’s leading sports equipment manufacturers.
